There was a small surprise in Izalco where eighth rankedAhuachapan (3-13) outscored 6th ranked Brujos (9-8) 80-56 . Ahuachapan outrebounded Brujos 57-35 including a 24-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Johnathan Claxton (206, college: Oakland City, agency: Fully Feared Sports) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 26 rebounds and 9 assists. The other American import guard Mike Jr Wright (201, college: Providence, MT, agency: Fully Feared Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Claxton is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Ahuachapan's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bahamas forward KJ Reckley (201, college: Niagara, agency: Fully Feared Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Samuel Cota (193) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Brujos. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ahuachapan maintains eighth position with 3-13 record. Brujos at the other side keep the sixth place with eight games lost.
